USF Research Foundation
 

The University of South Florida supports economic development in the Tampa Bay region and the State of Florida by educating and training students for productive careers, by supporting research and technology transfer, and by providing information and scholarly resources needed by the community.

The USF Research Foundation, Inc., supports this mission and enhances the research activities of USF System faculty, staff, and students. Through its cutting-edge programs, the USF Research Foundation, Inc., brings together the strengths of the USF System and the region to provide a critical interface that stimulates high-tech and biotech industries and creates jobs. The USF Research Foundation, a not-for-profit, direct-support organization (DSO), owns and operates the USF Research Park of Tampa Bay. The Research Foundation also administers USF CONNECT, the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator (TBTI), and the Florida High Tech Corridor Council matching-grant program on behalf of the University.

USF Research Park

USF Research Park is a center for economic development in the Tampa Bay Region.

 

USF is leveraging the expertise and creativity of its researchers to launch businesses throughout Tampa Bay. “Our companies and products derive from our vibrant research programs,” says Dr. Karen Holbrook, USF senior vice president for research, innovation and global affairs.“ Our incubators capitalize on industry collaborations with our scientists and researchers.”
